In this unit, we compared two different videos of ESA lessons. The second video was much more effective in engaging the students in the learning. The teacher introduced himself to each student and learned their names, forming great rapport. He also asked questions and got the students to participate by calling on them in an unexpected way. He took his time and made sure instructions for activities were understood before beginning the activity.
