In this unit about teaching special groups all of the information provided was very helpful. However, for me, the parts that stood out most were the sections covering teaching children and teaching multi/mono-lingual classes. I teach children who are a mono-lingual group. Because of this, it can be very hard to get them to use English in class especially since most of them are not motivated to learn the language. I will try implementing more varied activities. One of the things to bear in mind were not to raise your voice in class. I wonder what I can do when the students are absolutely out of control then?
