I think that some of the examples in the test could be used for different phases. In questions 6-9, for example, eliciting animal vocabulary or a brief class discussion could be used to engage students. If the discussion about going to the zoo was in the native language it would be a good way to engage the students and provide them a good idea about what they can expect to learn in the lesson. The multiple-choice answers didn't specify which language the class discussion took place in so I think it's a fair point. If the discussion had to take place in English then it could be a good activity for the Activate phase. All in all, I think that most of the answers in this unit are subjective.
