The last unit explained the ways of dealing with a variety of troubles that can take place in teaching different students of different levels and classes of different sizes. I also went across useful tips to give the first lesson and mistakes to be avoided such as teaching grammar and etc. to new students from the first lesson whereas you have to get to know each other. So activities as survey, tell us about, pass the ball game and needs analysis are very useful. Warmers (short, fun, communicative activities) are helpful for the engage phase to encourage children and to get them motivated. Use of native language is a real concern and issue so I've noted down all ways to deal with it. Reluctant students is the second issue as I'm positive that each class have at least a couple of them. I this case using a plenty of pair work, controlled practice, role-play and recorder is a way out of difficulties.
