This unit features a variety of teaching methodologies and the core technique of ESA that current TEFL teachers are taught as the structure of their lesson planning. Along with this information were examples of activities a teacher can employ during the Engage, Study and Activate stages. The core outcome I have received is that teachers should do more to engage the students, and that the majority of the time they should attempt to allow the student to come to the correct conclusions on their own if capable rather than dictate to them the answers. In this way the student comes relatively close to the method by which native speakers naturally acquire the English language which is more through absorbing it rather than being dictated it.
