Unit 9 dealt with lesson planning. By the end of the unit I was confident that though lesson planning is highly important, especially for new teachers, it should be used sometimes more as a guideline rather than a strict order that things must follow. If, for example, students are enjoying a particular activity, especially if in the activate stage, then the teacher should allow them to continue with the activity and be flexible to leave other content to another lesson if possible.
