This unit deals with conditionals and their usages along with ideas for teaching them to students. The most difficult section that a new teacher should study from this unit before teaching it would have to be the direct speech versus reported speech. This is due to the fact that again native speakers do many of these transitions without thinking about it any longer and therefore stumble when they go about explaining it to non-native speakers.
