This unit covered the important but often overlooked subject of pronunciation. The content of the unit was very comprehensive in the definitions and examples that are encouraged for you to do. This helped me understand how pronunciation is so important especially since there are so many dialects of English depending on where you are from. Terms such as intonation, stress, the phonetic alphabet and symbols and articulation were concepts of pronunciation I've never needed to think about prior to this unit/ TEFL. I think from learning how we use intonation and stress to emphasis our speech, as well as techniques and activities that can help students gain confidence when using the language from this unit is invaluable.
