This unit covers the importance and structures of lesson plans. Lesson plans have three important functions, being an aid to planning, being a working document and being a record. These functions help keep the class on track whilst allowing flexibility in the plan if particular activities need to be lengthened or shortened. Lessons plans can be minimal however it's helpful to include a variety of information such as learner objectives, phase, timing, anticipated problems to help run a class smoothly.
Reflecting on this unit and the questions above I'm not quite sure which order multiple activities under the engage and study phase should be arranged. Depending on the circumstances and students previous exposure to content I believe some of these activities could be arranged in several ways. For example with questions 11-12-13 the fill in the gap activity could go before or after the pronunciation drilling in my opinion.
