This unit covers the basics of the past tenses. It teaches past simple which is used for actions completed at a specific time in the past and also highlights some common irregular verbs. It also goes over past continuous which is usually used for describing the past, past perfect which represents actions that occurred before other actions in the past and past perfect continuous which is used to talk about longer actions in the past that had been going continuously until the last moment.
