This section has given an in depth overview of which lesson outlines work best when teaching grammar, vocabulary, and function. It is also very helpful, as the lesson gives examples for each, boomerang, straightened arrow, and patchwork. One example would be a boomerang lesson to teach grammar, to give the students multiple times to work on grammar activities. This may seem like something very simple, but these small adjustments when creating a lesson plan, may help it become more effective for the learner. As our job as teacher, we need to pay attention to these things to place the appropriate activities in each section. For example, the engage phase should be more like a warm up and not overwhelming for the students, while the activation phase should be challenging them with the material they have just learned. This all creates a natural flow for the class and a comfortable learning environment for the students.
