Unit 6, cover the system and structure of past tenses. Which is similar to present tense, but is related to the past time period. There is similarities in usage and form as the present tense. There is only one simple past verbs, which has two forms according to person: the verb ‘to be’ which has the form ‘was’ that is used with I, he, she, and it; and ‘were’ which is used with you, we and they. Then there is the irregular simple past form that is not created simply by adding -ed. This went over the usage and form of past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous.
