During this unit I start realising that a teacher should not always be the centre of attention. I know this is been said as well in unit 1, but it become more clear in this unit. I have learned that there are multiple ways to control the class and that sometimes it is better to take a step back,so the students can practise more by themselves. In this unit there are also numerous tips and tricks how to control a class better, which are very useful. For instance the way you set up the tables can help bring a certain vibe to the class, what can help you in the way you want to teach. Horseshoe for a more intimate class or separate tables for a more controllable class. Another thing that this unit taught me was that not every student is the same, and some students may need more assistance than others or liked to be left alone a bit more.
