This unit examines the productive skills-speaking and writing.It pays a special attention to the neglected writing which is often relegated to homework only even though this skill is the more difficult,requiring a greater degree of accuracy.The unit stresses the fact that if a teacher wants to introduce speaking or writing activities to the students,he/she must create the need and desire,in the students,to communicate.I appreciate the examples of a typical free/creative speaking/writing activity lessons and the list of the websites offering some games that can be used in the classroom.I fully agree with the opinion that games should be regarded as an integral part of the syllabus.
