This unit has briefly covered about teaching vocabulary, grammars, and functions of a new language. First, when teaching vocabulary there is a certain criterion to look at when choosing the words. Some of them might be the appropriacy to the students and to the task. Secondly, when it comes to teaching grammar student must know the meaning, the usage, the forms and patterns, and the spoken and written forms. Lastly, when it comes to teaching language functions it is important to know appropriacy of the kind of language they use-- formal, informal, technical, etc. In this lesson, I have just learned the basic definition of how to teach and approach vocabulary, grammar, and language functions.
