In this chapter it discusses the 4 forms of Past Tenses. Past simple, Past perfect, Past Continuous and Past perfect continuous. Each of the forms of past tense has their own form and usage. Past Simple is used in for actions which were done at a definitive time in the past. Past Perfect in short is the past form of Present perfect tense. Past Continuous is used to describe past actions which were interrupted and also used without a time expression. Past Perfect Continuous is used to describe situations which happened continuously up until the past moment which is being remembered. I have learned how to describe and differentiate these 4 forms of past tenses to my potential future students through this class.
