After reading this unit I made several conclusions on what does it mean to be a good teacher and to be a good learner. Now I understand that there cannot be a “STANDART SUITABLE PROGRAM” for kids. Depending on age, cultural, religious aspects – the attitude and the behavior of the teacher should be different. Things that can work in Asia, probably, will not work in the Middle East. A good teacher should remember this aspect. Also, the teacher cannot always be the “center” of the class – depending on the activities teacher should give his students more freedom – encourage them to talk, take active part in lesson process. A good teacher should also understand WHY his students want to learn the foreign language and keep them motivated during the entire course.
