In this Unit I have learned about lesson planning. Lesson should be planned or not is decided by the teacher. But it is difficult for inexperienced teachers to be able to be as flexible as this would require. The writing of lesson plans has a number of important functions: an aid to planning, a working document, a record. There is no rules how plan must be written. But there are some basic principles of lesson planning: keep it simple, structure it and maintain the same structure, keep it flexible and open to adaptation.
It is very important for the teacher to be organised. Teacher can do some things to make sure lesson goes smoothly:
Check that you have your lesson plan, check that the equipment works, arrange the seating as desired, make sure board is clean. Lesson plan must be consist of learner objectives, personal aims, teaching aids, language point, procedure, phase, timing, class level, interaction, number of students.
