From this unit, I feel that while I didn't learn much about becoming a better teacher or understanding how to work with students or children, I learned a whole lot about English grammar, which without good knowledge of, I don't think I could teach English. I learned many things that I didn't know before - things like terminology (superlative adjectives, comparative adjectives, countable vs uncountable nouns, etc.) and ways to teach this to students. I particularly liked the activities with adverbs like the adverb miming game. All in all, while a very challenging one, this unit provided very important insight onto the basic structure of English and showed me why it can be so difficult for a foreign student to study it.
