This unit focused on different types of special groups that you would teach english to. Beginners (whether young or older), individual learners, business people, and monolingual vs. multilingual classes. It is important to understand that all these different groups have to be taught differently. This unit stressed the importance of how to teach each group along with suggestions for activities and such. A lot of advice was given so that as teachers we would be fully prepared in any situation. I liked this unit a lot because with so many different types of groups and situations that english teachers may be put it, it is important to learn and understand what we are doing and how to do it properly.
