I have learned the different parts of speech from reading and studying the unit material. I am glad to have this knowledge so that I can better help students understand the reasons we use certain words and the purpose of such language usage within the sentence. The unit was straight forward and well organized in structure, presenting nouns, verbs, adverbs, and adjectives and also more smaller parts of speech such as articles, conjunctions, pronouns and prepositions. This was a very helpful review of English grammar, and word function.
