Unit 11 focuses on the factors considered in teaching the receptive skills: listening and reading. I have learned / relearned that there are a number of specialist skills employed when reading or listening (E.g. scanning, skimming, prediction, deduction, etc.). Besides, I have learned the different ways of addressing language difficulty among the students, as well as the important considerations when selecting texts/ dialogues for classroom use.
