This unit showed me how extremely wide and deep teacher’s knowledge should be. Teacher’s awareness doesn’t consist of subject issues or teaching methods only. It includes understanding of teacher’s roles and student’s needs in the classroom, requires strong support and sensibility, makes a teacher flexible and open-minded. The ability to motivate students is not enough for both adults and young learners. A teacher needs to be motivated even more, than his students. As a conclusion, a good teacher should know his role as a model of a foreign language, but an excellent teacher should be a model in learning, behaving, acting and teaching because his/her aim is to share knowledge and make students have a result.
