This unit explained the present tenses and their uses. I appreciate how the unit had a concise breakdown of the 4 present tenses along with example sentences, common usages, and common errors associated with their implementation. Throughout this lesson, I was reminded of the complexity of tenses in the English language but also encouraged by the straightforward explanations and help in differentiating between tenses. Since I will be teaching ESL in China this coming year, I know the materials covered in this unit will be useful and much needed as Chinese grammar does not include tense variation. I hope to continue to grow in my confidence in this area in order to be able to effectively guide my students in their understanding of tenses.
