I found this unit quite difficult. I was never really aware of all of the variations that the future tense entailed, and it took me a while to get my mind wrapped around all of them. However, I am really glad that I did take the time because I am certain that a solid understanding of the future tense, just like all other tenses and the grammatical structures of English, is imperative in order to teach the language. Even though I have been doing it somewhat unconsciously, I never really noticed how we use some versions of the present tense as future tenses. For instance, the present simple can be used in such a way as, "He leaves tomorrow," which discusses a future act (in other words, "He will leave tomorrow.") In those aspects, this unit was interesting just as much as it was useful.
