This unit covers conditionals and reported speech. Conditionals contain 'if' and 'when', which address past, present, and future situations. There are different forms, such as; zero, first, second, third, and mixed conditionals. This course also addressed the different teaching ideas that go along with educating the students on these different forms. Direct and reported speech are also explained as one turning into the other. For example, present simple direct speech can turn into past simple reported (indirect) speech. This knowledge will be helpful in educating the students on correct forms that go with the correct tenses, etc.
