Special groups have special needs, and understanding them and their needs is the first step to success with them. Knowing ahead of time that you will be teaching a particular business group, you could familiarize yourself with the industry and terms and make that a starting point. Young learners are better learners, but that does not equate to better listeners. The older students may be less motivated, but they have more incentive to learn in a lot of cases. Teaching individually with a student is a challenge because everything is more pronounced, especially errors you make, or those they make that must be corrected. With any concept of teaching, this one is also challenging for the teacher and the student, and knowing you do not know all there is to know, gives you a reason to get to know the material before presenting it in a professional way to someone who does not understand it at all.
