This unit contained an explanation of the most common and integral elements of the grammar that forms the basic sentences of day-to-day usage. It is a useful overview and thus allows me to teach English from a more structural standpoint. Knowing the root structure of the sentences I use day-to-day is imperative in terms of teaching, and thus will allow me to correct students in a much more precise fashion. I have learned a lot of basic grammar that although was second-nature to me, I would not have been able to put it into words.
