The materials that a teacher uses in a lesson can vary which is good as it can bring a variety in which the teacher can teach .She can use the whiteboard ,video, worksheets, visual aids etc . The visual aids can reduce the teacher talk time a lot so this is a good one to use .
The course books \resource books shouldn't be used for the whole lesson and may need to be adapted maybe for culture reasons etc but they do offer continuity and the students probably expect to use them anyway .
Feel I have learnt a lot from this unit and its all very practical
