In this unit I have learnt about the qualities, roles and responsibilities of both students and teachers. This unit is very useful because it discusses the different levels of ability in the English language and how teachers can cater to the needs of each student. Most importantly, it highlights that the teacher has to ensure that the lessons are varied, interesting and lively in order to maintain or build students’ motivation to learn. I will try to cultivate these qualities and carry out these roles to the best of my ability.
