This unit help me to see what are the most common problem situation that teacher can encounter in the classroom and how to deal with those situations. I learnt that in the first lesson a teacher should try to some activities to establish rapport between the students, such as conducting pass the ball game. As teacher it is important get students motivated by using short and fun activities to start the class ,even weather is grey and rainy. I also learnt that if students language levels are not about the same, a teacher can arrange stronger and weaker ones working in pairs, because that way weaker students might not feel frustrated. Unit also advised if students try speaking to me their own language, it would be better not respond. On the contrary teacher should constantly remind the students try use English to communicate.
