This unit covers four types of present tenses: simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous. Present simple form usually adds on an '-s' or '-es' at the end of verb. Present continuous form implies what is currently happening by adding on an '-ing' to the end of a verb. Present perfect form connects the past to the present by using the word 'have' or 'has'. And lastly, the perfect continuous form relates the past to the present and implies that it may relate to the future.
During this unit I learned much about the four types of present tenses that I have never knew before. I also learned to distinguish the four tenses into three different areas: affirmative, negative, and question. Learning these different areas was able to help me learn more about how to distinguish the four present tenses much easier.
