In this unit I learned that they way you use your eyes, voice and gestures are very important. You will have their attention and the lesson will go a lot easier when using them. I also learnt that the way you seat your classroom and your students will play a big role in how your lesson is seen. It depends on the age of your students and the size of the class. I also learnt that my movements is important and I should only stand in front of the class, dominating, when giving instructions and doing a presentation. When I want STT, I should occasionally monitor to keep the activity flowing. I learnt how to go about writing on the board and that it shouldn't waste time and that I should rather do it while they are doing an activity after I have monitored them. When there is a discipline problem in class, I have learnt that I should act immediately, keep calm and not shout and rather keep the student after class and have a private conversation to try and work out the problem.
