This unit explains the importance of lesson planning. I think it is so important not to create such a rigid lesson plan, because it restricts the ability to flow in accordance to the direction of the lesson. Following a strict structure prevents slight deviations from the course of the lesson that could actually benefit the learning of the students. It is okay to deviate from the intended path of the lesson, provided that the deviation is meaningful and helps clarify and hone in on the points of the lesson.
