This unit presented distinctions between the following groups of TEFL students: beginners, young learners, one-on-one learners, students of business english, multilingual classrooms, and monolingual classrooms. I appreciated all of the guidelines presented in each section, as I could easily see myself working with any of these genres of students. I found the 'Needs Analysis' form very useful, and I will certainly adapt it for use with appropriate student groups. I look forward to gaining experience teaching different types of students as I begin my career. I believe this will help me to determine which type of student group is the best fit for me, while I also cultivate versatility in being able to teach any of them.
