I didn't know that there are such things like receptive and productive skill in teaching the four basic skills in language. Though, I'm a Science teacher, I find it very substantial to understand and learn about it. I may be able to bring all those skills in my Science lessons to develop integration of skills in my class. The patchwork type of lesson plan presented this unit is very helpful and I find it so interesting that a teacher may come up with a vast ideas on delivering a particular topic/lesson to her students well.
