Unit one was about the teacher's ability to communicate with many stages of English speaking learners. It talked about the way a teacher can improve their skills by interacting with the student at the right time and in the right way. It was about being kind and understanding when a student has made a mistake. It described the differences between younger students and adult students, and the differences in their motivation, and in their ability to understand the English language. For the most part, the teachers have to make the class fun and interesting in order to motivate the students to come to class and enjoy the learning process.
