Unit sixteen is about grammar and direct speech. There are many different forms of conditional sentences that use if/when. It is hard for non english speaking students to use the right one, because the tenses change in the same sentence. Some times the future or past tenses are not even possible, which could make it even more confusing to them. It is also important to teach time expressions at a slow rate, because they may not be familiar with the right terms.
