This unit heavily teaches concepts of teaching grammar, vocabulary and its functions. It gives a blue print of how teachers should introduce new language to foreign students, such as how we should choose vocabulary, what the students should know about each item, and some techniques on how we can help make those words stick. There are proven structures on how to each language, for example, if one is teaching language structures, it would be helpful to first have a discussion, have the students study with worksheets, then at the end do a role play.
