This course unit was set out to provide a firm grasp and understanding of what teaching English is from a base level. It begins with both the motivations of the teachers and students, which then goes to describe attributes of certain learners and teachers should both have. It portrayed the relationship between a student and the teacher and how as a teacher one should interact with students in a way that makes them feel open to ask questions, and free to be themselves within a learning environment. it also showed several possible reasons learners of a new language may be nervous.
