There are a lot of equipment and teaching aid that can help to make lessons more effective and interesting and to make students more focused and motivated. Whiteboards, smart boards and overhead projectors can help to draw and hold students' attention, present and organize teaching material as well as be used for exercises, reading and so on. Visual aids, worksheets and work cards will help to learn new vocabulary, prompt students, practice grammar etc. Cassette recorder, CD player, videos and DVDs can be used to play authentic audio/video materials, course book supplementary audio/video materials to practice students' listening skills and comprehension. Computers, photocopiers and the Internet can be used to search, produce or copy additional materials. Dictionaries and resource books can be used by both teachers and students to improve vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar.
