This section addresses the use of course material and study books. One of the main points made is that the teacher needs to be aware of the material available but only use what is helpful for teaching the students. This may be a mix of course books but also authentic material which will gibe the students real life examples of the English language. These materials should be selected and prepared in a way that will be interesting to the students as this can be a great motivator for them to participate and wanting to be engaged.
