This lesson discussed conditionals and reported speech. I thought that this lesson was easily the most difficult lesson yet, because it makes me really think about the tenses when I typically don't think about them in my daily conversations. When I was reading this lesson, I was thinking about how difficult it would be to teach a lesson about conditionals and especially reported speech. I must remember to teach slowly and provide plenty of examples that demonstrate this mode of speech. For example: showing video clips of news reports would be a beneficial activity because news reporters address their stories in reported speech. I would then have the class create brief news reports about their current events using that speech.
