This unit may possibly be one of the most useful units because this unit teaches us how to keep the students engaged throughout a lesson through various teaching methods, strategies and activities. I think this because in my experience, the problems of a poor English teacher is usually not his/her lack of knowledge of the language, but rather the lack of ability to create an engaging lesson plan for the students. Here we can learn how to combine different combinations of the Engage, Study and Activate Stage, as well as using different variations of activities and teaching within each stage. The suggestions on corrections will be very helpful as well, because corrections and positive criticism can be intimidating but also necessary.
