This unit deals with different ways of evaluation and testing of students. It provides us useful information about placement tests, diagnostic tests, progress tests, external tests and practice tests. We can also get a better idea about general external examinations used in different parts of the world. Each school have its own rules and requirements when it comes to evaluation of students. The important is to be able to place students into respective classes based on their already-gained knowledge and to create a system of progress testing. This will help us, as well as our students, to measure students' progress, identify weaknesses and work on them. In my opinion, evaluation should not be stressful for students. On the contrary, they should be prone to be assessed so they can find out what they need to improve.
