There was a big difference between the 2 classes. In the 1st, the teacher didn't introduce himself or address the class & there was no engagement phase. He also scolded the late comers. There was much confusion because the teacher didn't explain the task or give an example beforehand. Instead, he jumped around from 1 regulation regarding jobs to roads to daily activities. In the 2nd, the teacher was organized, knew what his goal was, was clear about target language to be practiced. He was flexible, encouraging, included everyone equally, & used a multi-phased approach for his class.
