I have been an English teacher to beginners, intermediate, advanced, pre school, kindergarten, elementary, middle school, high school, and adult learners. One of the benefits of teaching ESL is that you have the opportunity to teach such a range of students. My favorite age groups to teach are kindergarten and elementary school. It is very rewarding to watch my classes quickly start to develop and use language. First to make requests and identify, then to ask questions, then to create their own sentences and language. It can be difficult because there are challenges especially to kindergarten students and a strong foundation in educational psychology should be mentioned in this lesson. I like how it pointed out working with people wanting to learn business English. I currently tutor and adult student who is looking to make a presentation at a foreign conference and also interview for a job. This lesson was extremely helpful to me.
