This unit deals with ideas of Teaching new language that is the vocabulary,grammar,and function of the language. It explains in detail about teaching vocabulary ,how to select a vocabulary to teach ,what the students needs to know about the vocabulary taught and techniques of teaching vocabulary along with list a ESA phase activities and a sample straight arrow ESA lesson. The other two parts that is grammar and function is also explained in the same way with what the students should know about the grammar/function taught , techniques of teaching along with list of activities in different phase of the lesson with sample patchwork and boomerang ESA lesson respectively.
