Here Below you can check out the feedback (for one of our units) of one of the 16.000 students that last year took an online course with ITTT!

This unit discussed the various methods of testing and evaluation of English learners. Tutorials can be used for individual or group help and are good for reviewing, discussing goals, etc. Evaluation by the students can also be a helpful way to gain perspective on your class and what they feel is good and what could be adjusted in the course. There are many different kinds of tests: placement, progress, diagnostic, practice and proficiency tests. Placement tests are a way to gauge a speaker language level so they may be properly directed to the correct class for their specific learning experience. Progress tests are used throughout the year to check how well the information is being retained and what areas should be revisited and worked on. Diagnostic tests are similar to placement tests and are given at the beginning of the year to see what information the students currently know. Practice tests are good preparation for both internal and external exams and are a good way to help students revise. The unit also went over a number of official external exams (such as the TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, etc.) and their various purposes (such as for academic use, business, or life skills). This was unit was good overview of the official language tests currently available right now. Of course I knew there would be a number of them, but it was good to see them laid out in this manner and to know that these are accredited and recognized by many institutions.
