This unit was about examination. It dealt both with the ways teachers can give exams and evaluations, and also external examinations and evaluations that English learners might be interested in taking. I learned about a lot more English evaluation exams than I had realized existed. The descriptions of what the focuses of these exams are was helpful, as it will allow me to recognize immediately in the future what the aim of my teaching should be for a student preparing for one of these exams.
